LONDON (VIP NEWS) — Paul McCartney is to bring his Out There tour to Europe in May, starting with his first shows in the UK for three years.

The Beatles legend will play The O2 in London, Birmingham`s Barclaycard Arena and Liverpool`s Echo Arena before shows in France, the Netherlands, Norway and Sweden, along with a headlining slot at Denmark`s Roskilde Festival.

The nine concerts will mark the second time the Out There tour has come to Europe since June 2013, when McCartney performed in Poland, Italy and Austria.

"It`s always great when you get to play in your home country," he said. "It`s been a little while since I`ve performed here so we`re planning a few surprises and looking forward to playing some songs we`ve never played here."

The Out There tour has been seen by almost two million people around the world since its launch, featuring a total of 64 shows in 12 countries.

McCartney will perform shows in Japan and South Korea before the tour returns to Europe. –According to MusicWeek
